I’m majoring in public relations with a minor in business, and am hoping to move to Seattle once I get my degree and pursue a career there. I really enjoy traveling the world and working in volunteer positions at various capacities, and hope to do more of that this upcoming summer. I love to write, meet new people and try new things.

I am a junior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. My long term goal is to become successful in the very competitive world of journalism; however, in the mean time, I hope to gain as much hands on experience as possible. I believe the best way to truly understand operational journalism is to learn from those who practice the craft every day. My ultimate goal is to seek a career in sports or international news, but I feel as though it is important to experience all fields of broadcast journalism before deciding what direction to go in.

I am a sophomore at Arizona State University pursuing a BA in broadcast journalism. During the Spring semester of the 2010-2011 school year, I will be an intern at 620 KTAR sports radio. I will graduate in 2013. I am very interested in sports, music and watching movies. I enjoy playing baseball and spending time with friends and family. My favorite teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers and Philidelphia Eagles.

I am a senior studying journalism at Arizona State University. I have covered breaking news for the Arizona Republic since the beginning of the spring 2010 semester. I also write two sports blogs, one called "In the Huddle," which covers ASU athletics for State Press Magazine. My other blog is called "Cardiac Cardinals"and it offers my analysis of the Cardinals' 2010 season. I love to play and watch basketball, baseball and football. My favorite teams are the Arizona Cardinals, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox and all ASU squads. I hope to one day be a sports writer for Sports Illustrated, ESPN, NBA.com, NFL.com or NBA.com.
